Church Security Man Brutally Attacks 19-Year-Old Student Of Nkwasco With Machete.

A 19-year-old student of Nkwatia Senior High School, popularly known as NKWASCO, Opoku is receiving treatment at the Koforidua Regional Hospital after he was allegedly butchered by a security guard of the Arena of Love Church in Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.

The unfortunate incident occurred at Nkawkaw Winners, the premises of the Arena of Love Church , where the victim Opoku is said to have encountered the church’s security guard under circumstances that are currently under investigation.

The 19-year-old final year student sustained serious cutlass wounds during the attack and was initially rushed to Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital before being referred to the Koforidua Regional Hospital for further medical attention due to the severity of his injuries.

Police in Nkawkaw have since arrested the security guard Yaw Donkor involved in the incident to assist with investigations.

The victim’s mother, who narrated the incident, expressed deep pain over what happened to her son and called on the police and relevant authorities to ensure justice is served.

She appealed to authorities to deal with the matter swiftly to prevent such incidents from happening again in the community.
