Traders Give Leaders One-Week Ultimatum to Account for Adum Blue Light Fire Donations.

Traders affected by last year’s devastating Adum Blue Light fire are up in arms, demanding accountability from their leaders.

It’s been a year since the incident, and they’re still waiting for an update on the donations received.

The traders allege that despite numerous appeals and donations, little has been done to support them.

The only thing they have done is implement a drainage system for a whole year.

They’re unhappy with the lack of transparency and are now taking drastic measures.

This morning, they sang war songs, warning their leaders to provide an account of the funds or face consequences.

“One year is not easy; many affected people are struggling to feed their families,” said one trader.

The leaders have been given a week to respond; otherwise, the traders will rebuild the containers themselves.

The situation is tense, with traders feeling frustrated and abandoned by their leaders.

They’re demanding answers and tangible support to get their businesses back on track.

Kwaku Nsiah, Organizer for the traders also disclosed that, their one year anniversary celebration is been celebrated in sorrow because has not been any improvement ever since the market was set ablaze.
