I Will Intensify Coexistence, Customs And Cultural Practices For Collaborative Progress In Berekum” – Berekum Queen Mother.

Nana Akosua Ameyaahene, the Queen Mother of the Berekum Traditional Council in the Bono Region, has pledged to foster love and unity among the people of Berekum to promote peaceful coexistence stressing that she is committed to intensifying traditional practices to preserve the rich culture and customs of Berekum.

During the swearing in ceremony of the senase queen mother Nana AGyeiwaa Duffie who also double as the new krontihemaa to the queenmother of berekum traditional council Nana Akosua Ameyaahene remarked on the traditional practice of greeting elders in the local dialect, which was responded in the same manner.

She expressed concern that Western culture is gradually replacing these traditional ways.
As the Queen Mother of Berekum, she is determined to revive the practices in the olden days by ensuring that people, especially Nananom, greet each other in the local dialect.

This initiative aims to reignite the use of local dialects in effective communication and to promote peaceful coexistence, thereby contributing to the region’s development.

Nana Agyeiwaa Dufie, the Queen Mother of Senase who also double as the new Krontihemaa of the Berekum Traditional Council, during her swearing in to the queenmother of berekum remarked in her speech that, the majority of the residents in Senase are traders and farmers who are making steady progress in their lives.

She urged everyone to lead a good and exemplary life to ensure they are considered for positions and other benefits when the opportunity arises.

She emphasized the importance for everyone, particularly the female youth in Berekum, to lead a decent life for the sake of their future.
