The deceased, identified only as Abeao, was a well-known truck pusher in the community .

His death has sent shockwaves through the area, with residents expressing deep concern over the events leading up to his demise .

Details of the Incident Initial reports suggest that Abeao had been feeling unwell .

Due to financial constraints, he sought medical attention at a private hospital but was reportedly denied care because he could not afford the treatment .

He returned home without receiving medical help, and the following day, he was found dead .

This alleged rejection by the family over GHC 300.00 and the subsequent denial of medical care have fueled speculation and unease among the residents .

Many residents are questioning the circumstances surrounding his death and are concerned about the lack of immediate medical assistance he allegedly faced .

As of now, the exact cause of Abeao’s death remains unclear, and the circumstances are being described as mysterious .

The Ghana Police Service has been active in Mankessim, recently arresting a 25-year-old man for failing to honor an agreement , indicating a general law enforcement presence in the area.

The Assembly Member for the New Nkusukum Electoral Area, Ali Abubakar—popularly known as Champion Sorin—visited the scene after receiving the report and subsequently confirmed the incident based on information gathered.

He was annoyed of the hospital and family over GHC 300.00.

He has since officially lodged a complaint with the Mankessim District Police Command and informed the family of the deceased.

Authorities have been notified, and investigations are currently underway to determine the exact cause of death.

The body is expected to be conveyed to a nearby mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
