Newborn Baby Abandoned In Bush At Dechimso-Hafia, Ashanti Region.

An unidentified newborn baby was found abandoned in a small bush at Dechimso-Hafia in Manhyia south constituency of the Ashanti Region.

Residents discovered the baby on yesterday and alerted authorities. The infant was rescued and rushed to Manhyia health facility for medical attention.

Police in the area have begun investigations to identify and apprehend the person responsible for abandoning the child. They are appealing to the public, especially residents of Dechimso-Hafia and surrounding communities, to provide any information that could assist with the investigation.

The condition of the baby is yet to be confirmed by health officials in Manhyia.
