Hon.Ibrahim Issahak, DCE handed Over Waste Containers To Communities.
The Atwima Mponua District Assembly,Hon.Ibrahim Issahak, handed over waste containers to the District Environmental Officer for onward distribution to the beneficiary communities of Nyinahin Zongo, Nyinahin Market, Nyinahin Highways, Serebuorso, and Anyinamso No. 1 & 2.
These communities recently benefited from the evacuation of long-standing refuse dumps, making it necessary to provide proper waste containers to prevent the reoccurrence and overconcentration of waste at those locations.
The containers were procured through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) as part of our commitment to advancing a cleaner and healthier Atwima Mponua.
The Assembly remains committed to extending similar support to more communities in the future to strengthen effective waste management across the district.
Together, we can keep our communities clean and safe, he also added, every community in the district will received their waste containers to make their clean.
