Kenyasi Market Women Cry Over Sudden Relocation Order.

Market women at the Kenyasi Thursday Market in the Asutifi North District of the Ahafo Region have expressed frustration over plans to relocate them.

According to the traders, the assembly has asked them to relocate to pave way for the construction of a 24-hour economy market without prior notice.

They said they have been informed that they would not be allowed to trade at the market on Thursday unless they relocate.

However, they noted that the new location is already congested, making it difficult for them to get space for their trading activities.

The women are therefore appealing to the assembly to give them enough time to remove their market sheds and make the necessary arrangements before the relocation takes effect.
