Young Man Gunned Down In Keri As Fear Tightens Its Grip On Nkwanta.

A cloud of grief has descended over the community of Keri in the Nkwanta South Municipality following the tragic killing of a young man identified as Thomas, who was reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen on the evening of  Sunday, June 7, 2026. at approximately 7:30 PM.

According to local reports, the attack occurred suddenly, sending shockwaves through residents who say fear and uncertainty continue to overshadow daily life in the area.

Witnesses described scenes of panic as gunshots rang out, leaving community members scrambling for safety.

Friends and relatives remember Thomas as a young man with dreams, ambitions, and a future ahead of him.

His death has left family members devastated, and residents questioning when the cycle of violence affecting parts of Nkwanta South will come to an end.
