A Strategic Opportunity For Ghana: Partnering With Unipromet.

As the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, I remain committed to attracting credible international investors and industrial partners who can contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s long-term development.
During my visit to Serbia, I had the privilege of engaging with UNIPROMET, one of Serbia’s leading industrial manufacturing companies and a respected European exporter.
Founded in 1989, the company has built a strong reputation for engineering excellence, innovation, and large-scale manufacturing.
UNIPROMET employs more than 650 professionals, operates two advanced manufacturing facilities in Čačak and Kraljevo, with over 60,000 square metres of production space on 220,000 square metres of industrial land.
The company records an annual turnover of approximately €102 million and exports its products to more than 30 countries across Europe and other international markets.
Their areas of expertise include:
* Highway guardrails and road restraint systems
* Traffic signs and traffic infrastructure
* Bridge safety barriers
* Noise protection barriers
* Steel structures and structural fabrication
* Steel pipes and industrial steel products
* Hot-dip galvanizing and corrosion protection
* Metal processing
* Solar panel mounting systems
* Renewable energy infrastructure
* Engineering, design, manufacturing, and project support
UNIPROMET manufactures in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including CE Certification, EN 1317, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, demonstrating its commitment to quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
For Ghana, this represents an opportunity to explore partnerships that could support:
* Local manufacturing and industrial development
* Road and transport infrastructure
* Technology transfer
* Skills development and workforce training
* Steel fabrication capacity
* Renewable energy infrastructure
* Job creation for Ghanaian youth
* Increased industrial investment
My vision is to position Ghana as a gateway for industrial investment into West Africa, working with credible international companies that have the experience, capacity, and technology to contribute to our nation’s development.
This engagement is part of that vision. I look forward to continued discussions with stakeholders in Ghana and with UNIPROMET to explore opportunities for collaboration that align with our national development priorities.
Ghana’s future will be shaped not only by our natural resources but also by the quality of the partnerships we build.
By connecting Ghana with world-class industrial companies, we can accelerate infrastructure development, strengthen our manufacturing sector, and create sustainable opportunities for future generations.
