Combat Bushfires And Fire Outbreaks In Your Municipality……Ghana Fire Service

The Ghana Fire service department called on all stakeholders within the Atebubu-Amantin municipality to help combat bushfires and fire outbreaks which keeps repeating each and every year destroying thousands of properties.

Speaking at a one day workshop for the stakeholders,DCFO Frederick Ohemeng Director of Rural Fires pleaded with pastors and imams as well as parents to at least use their pulpit to preach and educate the public on bushfires and fire outbreaks .

V.Rev. Anthony Daapaa of the Methodist church-Atebubu speaking on behalf of the clergy,admitted that yes indeed the pulpit can be use to educate the public and hence forth the will .

Nana Amoako Gyan the Dabene Hene of the Atebubu traditional council stood in for Dr. Ohenpong Yeboah Asiama -Omanhene of Atebubu traditional council,Nana assured the Fire service department of vast lands to be used for their training school readily available any moment they visit the traditional council and also ask for government to help the Municipality get a new fire thunder vehicle.
