Gomoa Ngyiresi Celebrate Ahobaa Kese Festival And Installation Of Oman Baatangemaa.

Ahobaa kesee festival is mostly celebrated by the people of Gomoa to honor their ancestors and today the people of Gomoa Ngyiresi have also started their Ahobaakese festival.

The festival began on the 14th of August 2026 with candle procession through the principal street of Gomoa Ngyiresi, the Asafo group also took over and displayed their colours.

The chiefs and the eldest of the town were also present. The chiefs also used this medium to enstool Oman Baatanhemaa.

The Odikro of Ngyiresi Nana Kwasi Esuhn iii also pleaded and edged his people who stays outside the town should try their possible best to join them celebrate this year festival.

Nana Obrinpong Esirify iii Gomoa Ngyiresi Omankrado also used this medium to advised the youth should be serious with their education and stay away from hard drugs.
