Offinso Chieftaincy “I Am Still The Only Recognized Paramount Queen Mother Of Offinso Traditional Council

The Paramount Queen mother of Offinso Traditional Council, Nana Ama Serwah Nyarko, has confirmed that she is still the only recognized paramount queen mother of Offinso Traditional Council.

Her comment followed the recent rumours hovering around the nooks and crannies of the world that she has been destooled by the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II, following the recent Chieftaincy dispute in

Offinso.

In a press conference today at Offinso, Nana Ama Serwah Nyarko, confidently stated that Ghanaians should treat those rumours as fake.

“I am by this presser stating emphatically that, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, has never destooled me. There are no substantial negative charges against me in the face of Asantehene”.

She therefore challenged those spreading the fake news to produce their evidence of charges that influenced her destoolment and or the evidence showing her destoolment at the Manhyia Palace.

Nana Nyarko reiterated that there is no Paramount Queen mother at Offinso apart from her as globally and traditionally recognized.

She also reaffirmed her decision to choose Dr. K. K Sarpong as the choice of the kingmakers and the people of Offinso as the Paramount Chief of Offinso Traditional Council.
