AFIENYA: ONE SHOT AND BUTCHED TO DEATH AFTER LAND GUARDS ATTACKED CONSTRUCTION WORKERS AT AFIENYA*

One person has been shot and butched to death at Afienya in the Ningo-Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region.

The incident occurred after a group of well-built men believed to be land guards allegedly attacked a construction workers at Afienya near Dam site.

The attack resulted in the shooting of one worker and butched to death after a group of land guards.

An estate developer in the area who witnessed the attack, *John Yawson,* has appealed to the government and the Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yehuno, to help address land guards harassment in the area.

He lamented on the current activities of land guards in the area, this he says have put fear in workers, preventing them from visiting their site.

He spoke to *ANGEL TV REPORTER, AHIABOR AUGUSTINE

Meanwhile the Police have arrested some suspect in connection with the incident to assist with investigations.
