C/R Two Suspects Jailed 80 Years For Robbing Okada Rider At Awutu Mfadwe
The Cape Coast Circuit Court presided over by Her Ladyship Sedinam Agbemava has sentenced two suspects to 80 years imprisonment for robbing Okada Rider and in the process killed him in the aim of using his body parts for Money Rituals.
The Suspects received 40 years each for robbery alone and to reappear before the court on 28th November 2024 for the Murder.
If we recall Angel News Reported on 14 July 2022 that, A 22 year old boy, Francis Mawunya and his friend Benjamin Acquah hired Okada Rider from Awutu Bontrase to Awutu Mfadwen and upon reaching a section of the road, the suspects robbed the motor bike and also killed him for money rituals.
The Suspect killed the the 18 year old boy, Kwame Ogyam, took his motor bike and removed his body parts in attempt to used it for money rituals in the aim of buy lavish cars for 2022 Awutu Awubia Festival.
Today, The Cape Coast Circuit Sentenced the suspects to 40 years imprisonment each with hard labor and reappear before court on 28th November 2024 for the murder.
After the court ruling, family members of the Deceased , have expressed Joy and also commended the Police and the judiciary for given them Justice.
