NDC Assembly Members Storms Agormanya Market With Red Armbans Over Lockable Stores Sharing

Some NDC Assembly Members in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region has stormed Agormanya market with red string armbans over 188 lockable stores sharing under Secondary City project funded by World Bank.

Speaking to Angel News at Agormanya, *Rafat Mohammed* assembly member for Agormanya South electoral area who led the assembly members to the market noted that, they were never informed about the sharing of the market stores after it’s commissioning as they are part of the assembly.

According to him, the opposition party despite been opposition are still giving out the market stores to people they believe are members of the opposition party making them storm the market with red armbans showing their displeasure to the immediate past government.

He added that, some traders at Agormanya market were heavily affected during the construction therefore they must be considered giving some of the stores to them as compensation before traders from different places acquired the lockable stores.

Esther Afafa Tetteh a trader who was affected by the actions of the assembly members forcing her to close her shop spoke to Angel News how she acquired the lockable store which she believes it was a legal process.
