From Suffering To Relief, Dawhenya Road Gets Major Facelift.

The people of Dawhenya after a long struggle and suffering due to traffic over an abandoned project have expressed some relief after contractors begin work.
The Dawhenya road has for a very long time has created traffic putting road users in distress.
The Chief of Dawhenya, Nene Tetteh Kwei I revealed most of the residents affected by the demolition ahead of the road construction were notify and have been compensated and others are yet to be compensated.
He again urged his people to have patience since the contractors are back on site and that the road construction will about facilities such as markets and terminals since the community lacks that.
Pastor Sampson Akwei Allortey is the Public Relations Officer for the contractor of the project, according to him, the project is a Tema-Aflao road and he reveals the project begins from Tema roundabout to Central University.
He went further to explain to the media how other locations such as Prampram junction to Afienya and also a footbridge.
The Assembly Member for North Dawhenya electoral area, Hon Moses Nii also expressed his satisfaction with the project but expressed his concern over the demolition of structures of residence making it a great challenge for the residents and also revealed that just a few residents have not been compensated.
