Chiefs, Residents Ready To Embrace Mahama’s 24-hour Market At Asesewa…..MP.
The Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo in the Eastern region,Bismark Tetteh Nyarko has said, his constituents including chiefs and elders, religious leaders, and residents are ready to embrace President John Mahama’s 24hr Market at Asesewa to boost the local economy.
Speaking at the sod cutting of the 24hr Market at Asesewa by the president of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama as part of his two days working tour in the region noted that, the Asesewa market was neglected by the previous government for eight 8 years which left the market detoraited making it to loose it’s past relevance known by many Ghanaians.
According to him, the residents and people of upper Manya Krobo are very happy and grateful by the president for considering the Asesewa market to be part of the 24hrs market modules in the country which he pledged his support for the completion of the project.
Emmanuel Kwasi Lawer, the district chief executive for Upper Manya Krobo in an interview thanked the president for listening to their plea to upgrade the famous Asesewa Market as it serves as the food basket of the County.
Benjamin Osei the team leader of Architect for FeDems Limited – the constructing firm in charge of the market project assured its completion within 18 months as Scheduled for the people of Manya KrobKrobey.
