Gomoa Central, Mp A-Plus Nearly Attacked By Angry New Winneba Residents After Visiting The Scrne.

The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has narrowly escaped an attack by angry residents of New Winneba.

The incident occurred when the MP visited the Effutu North District Police Command to seek first-hand information following a violent attack at New Winneba.

Angel News earlier reported that three people were confirmed dead while 15 others sustained serious injuries after some residents from communities in Gomoa allegedly attacked residents of New Winneba over a land dispute.

Following the incident, the Gomoa Central MP, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, visited the Effutu North District Police Command to ascertain the facts surrounding the incident and obtain first-hand information.

However, his presence at the police command angered some residents who had gathered at the scene.

The angry residents reportedly confronted the MP, forcing security personnel, including the Central Regional Police Command, to intervene and escort him away from the area for his safety.
