Chief Urges Parents To Support Gomoa Tarkwa Educational Fund.
The Chief of Gomoa Tarkwa in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region, Nana Atta Kwakwa Opusu Agyir VII, has called on the parents and guardians to support the community’s educational fund.
V/O Gomoa Tarkwa Community established a local educational fund designed to fight school dropout rates and support educational progress in the area.
During a fundraising event towards the educational fund, Nana Atta Kwakwa Opusu Agyir VII indicated that although there is no job opportunities in the area apart from farming, but he was still calling on the parents and guardians to actively contribute to the Fund to ensure that the children in the community crimb higher up the educational ladder.
He emphasized that investing in education is the definitive way to eliminate future economic hardships and secure better future for the next generation.
