Nana Opakokor Amoso VI, the esteemed Odikro of the Kwamankese Bosomin Traditional Area, has issued a powerful call for self-sufficiency, urging his community to break free from the dependency on politicians and government for their development.

In a passionate address, Nana Opakokor Amoso VI highlighted that while many communities anticipate external aid, Kwamankese Bosomin is actively charting its own course towards progress, undertaking vital projects such as a community center and educational facilities without awaiting the intervention of government or Members of Parliament.

This proactive stance is deeply rooted in the community’s rich cultural heritage, particularly observed during their annual purification of the traditional stool, the Eguadotow festival.

This significant celebration not only marks the commencement of the year but also serves as a profound moment to express gratitude to their ancestors and deities.

During these festivities, Nana Hemaa Kobiwaa Acquah III, the Odikro Henmaa of Kwamankese Bosomin, echoed the sentiment of empowerment.
