We Are Working Hard With VRA Nedco To Secure Electricity Poles In Facilitating The Extension Of Light To The Sampa New Market Site -D.C.E

The Jaman North D.C.E Honourable George Adane has begun measures in addressing challenges confronting traders at the Sampa New Market after traders were evacuated from the old site for the 24hr economy Market.

Speaking to the District Chief Executive (DCE), he said work is ongoing to resolve electricity challenges at the market, adding that he had liaised with officials of VRA-NEDCo to secure electricity poles to facilitate the extension of power to the new market site.

Hon. Adane George also acknowledged concerns raised by traders over the dusty condition of the market, particularly their fear that it could become muddy during the rainy season.

According to him, the Assembly has taken note of the concern and would work expeditiously to address it, alongside other minor challenges at the market.

Mr. Charles Kofi Kyeremeh, a businessman and philanthropist, commended president John Dramani mahama and the (NDC) government, along with the Member of Parliament for Jaman North and the District Chief Executive, for the construction of the 24-hour economy market as he pleaded once again to the president of the republic to do more development in jaman North because they lack alot of things in jaman North

He stated that the market will enhance economic activities in Sampa and provide traders with suitable spaces for their operations.

He advocated for additional developmental projects, expressing a desire for continued progress in jaman North.
