Hon. Adwoa Safo Has No Intention Of Leading Kristo Asafo Church In Ghana…..Bompata Branch Of Kristo Asafo Executives Discloses.

The leadership and members of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Bompata Branch, at Kumasi Asafo have urged various churches to dismiss any claims portraying Adwoa Sarfo’s intention to take over the leadership of the church from the council of elders.

Addressing the press, former Deputy General Secretary Mr Kwaku Boateng Agyenim said the rumours spreading among the church’s national leaders about Hon. Adwoa Sarfo’s intention to lead the church are untrue.

He added that the Kristo Asafo Mission Church does not permit a woman to be a pastor, let alone lead the church, so members must dismiss such claims.

Mr Kwaku Boateng Agyenim stressed that Hon. Adwoa Sarfo made her intentions clear to the entire leadership of his father’s will to choose one of his sons as his successor when the Council of Elders met with them after the passing of their father.

The former Deputy General Secretary further called on members of the Kristo Asafo Mission Church across the country to dismiss any claims by the council that Adwoa Sarfo’s intention to lead the church is false and invalid.

He stated that a case has been presented to the Accra High Court to rule on who should lead the church among the sons of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, since the council didn’t follow the right procedure in the church’s constitution for selecting a new leader.

Mr Kwame Asamoah Dwomoh, a member of the church, expressed his dissatisfaction that members who went to the funeral of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo are treated, while the “said” leader remains silent about the matter.

“How can a member be slapped and maltreated for attending the funeral of the founder of Kristo Asafo Mission Church?” He further urged all members who would encounter any maltreatment to report for the laws to deal with such perpetrators.
