Bobo Shanti Pub Demolished In Nkawkaw To Promote Safet And Sanity

The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Nkawkaw chiefs, has demolished the notorious Bobo Shanti pub.

The pub’s demolition is a direct response to its long history of association with crime, violence, and substance abuse.The pub’s activities had a negative impact on the community, contributing to an atmosphere of fear and insecurity.

MCE for Kwahu West, Tamimu Halidu has disclosed that the site where the Bobo Shanti pub once stood will be converted into a car park for the District Assembly.

The new car park project is expected to not only improve the aesthetic appeal of the area but also contribute to the overall safety and well-being of residents.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Tamimu Halidu, is therefore urging residents with temporary structures in the area to vacate within six months to facilitate the project.

He further encouraged the youth to avoid drug abuse and instead channel their energies into productive ventures.
