Breaking News!!!Escalates In Manso Tontokrom As Armed Military Men Storms The Community

Residents of Manso Tontokrom in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region are on edge as tensions rise over the military takeover of their land concerning a disputed mining site.

The community is strongly opposing Asanko Gold Mines’ takeover of their only land, citing harassment and brutality by the company’s security personnel.

Residents have disclosed that they have nowhere else to go, as this land is their only means of survival.

The community has expressed willingness to seek a peaceful end to the dispute but insists that heavy-handed tactics must cease.

The Ghana Armed Forces should call their men to order because they are inciting violence.

The residents have appealed to President John Dramani Mahama and the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to intervene and prevent further bloodshed.
