We Will Investigate Looting Of Public Funds In Upper Manya Krobo By The Previous Government…MP

The Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency in the Eastern Region, Bismark Tetteh Nyarko has said, that together with the DCE of the area, they are going to investigate the misappropriating of public funds in the Upper Manya Krobo District Assembly by the previous Government to help achieve the reset agenda.

Speaking to the Media, the lawmaker noted that, a lot of projects in the district were captured in the district’s common fund but contractors of such projects were not paid over the past  eight (8) years under the previous NPP government.

An example he cited was a six unit classroom block at Akotoklo -Gua where the contractor was not paid but was captured in the common fund.

According to him, Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) is going to work in Upper Manya Krobo to aid the reset agenda of John Dramani Mahama.

Meanwhile,  Emmanuel Kwasi Lawer DCE for Upper Manya Krobo highlighted some debts he inherited as  Legacy debts  as a result of the misappropriating of public funds which amounts over  Sixteen Million Ghana Cedis (16,895,309.65) by the previous NPP government in Upper Manya Krobo District Assembly.

They made these statements during the commissioning of a six unit classroom block at Akotoklo -Gua in the Upper Manya Krobo District
