65-Year-Old Woman Beheaded By Nephew At Breman Benin

Shock and grief have gripped the Breman Benin community in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region following the gruesome murder of a 65-year-old woman, Madam Abena Gladys, who was allegedly beheaded by her sister’s son, Kojo Sam.

The horrific incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. when the suspect reportedly broke into the victim’s room armed with a pestle. He is said to have struck her multiple times before dragging her outside, stabbing her repeatedly, and eventually beheading her.

Eyewitness accounts reveal that Kojo Sam had on several occasions threatened to kill the victim during family disputes.

Despite these threats, relatives reportedly resolved the matters privately without reporting to authorities.

Following the attack, the suspect fled the scene. However, police intelligence led to his arrest later this afternoon.

He is currently in custody and assisting with investigations.
