Kumasi Suame Magazine Artisans Protest Against Their Proposed Injection

The artisans of Zone 13 of the Suame Magazine have protested against a proposed ejection by a private developer.

Speaking to the media at a presser today, the chairman of the Zone 13, Eric Arhin stated that, they only saw their land caged by an unknown private developer for which reason unknown to them.

According to the chairman, they have been working on the land for over 40 years and have never faced ejection until recently.

“We are by this presser urging the chief of Tafo, MCE, Minister for Lands and the President to swiftly intervene before the situation gets worse”. Arhin stated

On his part, a National Executive Member of the Garages Association, Alhaji Usman, also called on the government for a quick intervention.

Finally, some members of the artisans also had this to add up.
