Gomoa Central Set For Economic Boost As 24-Hour Market Project Takes Off.

The Gomoa Central District in the Central Region is set to experience a significant economic transformation following the commencement of plans to construct an ultra-modern 24-hour economy market at Gomoa Afransi.
The District Chief Executive, Hackman Kobina Aidoo, says the project is expected to boost local economic activities and increase the Assembly’s revenue when completed.
Speaking with Angel TV Reporter Nana kojo Asare, He says the market will attract investors and traders from across the country, positioning Gomoa Central as a key commercial hub.
He further indicated that the project will trigger improvements in road infrastructure within the district, including the Agona Swedru–Winneba highway, the Ajumako–Gomoa Afransi road, and the Apam Junction–Gomoa Afransi stretch, to facilitate easy movement of goods and services.
The DCE made these remarks during a sod-cutting ceremony held at Gomoa Afransi to officially commence the project.
Meanwhile, the Odikro of Gomoa Achiase, Nana Okatakyi Mensah, expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for fulfilling his campaign promise to the people of Gomoa Central.
He also offered prayers for wisdom and strength for the President to successfully steer the affairs of the country.
