Emergency Care Physicians Worried Over Lack Of Health Personnel And Inadequate Equipment At Emergency Units

The emergency care physicians in Ghana are sounding the alarm on the inadequate equipment and health personnel at emergency units in referral hospitals across the country.

Dr. Daniel Osei Kwame, President of the Emergency Medicine Society of Ghana, expressed these concerns at the 2nd Emergency Medicine Society conference in Kumasi, highlighting the need for improved emergency care.

He said many hospitals lack essential medical equipment, hindering effective emergency response.
