Adansi Wuruyie Man Receiving Spiritual Healing Found Hanging From Tree, Half-Naked

Residents of Adansi Wuruyie in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region were gripped with shock on Sunday evening around 7 PM after the lifeless body of a man was found hanging from a tree in a secluded part of the community.

The deceased, believed to be in his 30s, was discovered half-naked, with his trousers tied around his neck and fastened to a tree branch, raising suspicions of possible strangulation.

Although his identity has not been officially confirmed, some residents claim he had been undergoing spiritual healing at a nearby prayer camp.

The chilling discovery prompted a swift response from police, who have since conveyed the body to the New Edubiase Government Hospital morgue for preservation and further investigation.

The circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear, and police have launched an investigation to determine whether foul play was involved.

Efforts are also underway to identify the deceased and notify his family.
