My One Year In Office Successful; Watch Out For More Development – Ekumfi MP

The Member of Parliament for Ekumfi Constituency says his first year in office has been a resounding success—far beyond initial expectations.

He has assured constituents to watch out for massive development in the coming years.

Speaking in an interview with Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah, during a mega all-white float, Ekumfi Legislator Hon. Dr. Ekow Quainoo highlighted numerous ongoing projects across the constituency.

He promised that all deplorable roads in Ekumfi will be constructed, with others reshaped as needed.

Key initiatives like building a district hospital, constructing a 24-hour economy market complex, expanding major projects, and more will soon be completed.

“I’m optimistic about bringing massive development to Ekumfi,” he said. “As MP, I will ensure the constituency gets its fair share of the national cake, to the glory of our late son of the soil, President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.”

In addition, the Ekumfi Youth Association appealed to the MP and President to create job opportunities for the youth.

Ekumfi remains one of the poorest districts in the Central Region and needs to break free from that label.

The Ekumfi Youth Association President John Abeka also urged the President to fix the district’s deplorable roads, which have long plagued residents.

He noted that most youths in Ekumfi struggle with unemployment after school, calling on the government for support.
