Former Dormaa West MP Ali Maiga Halidu Declares Bid For NPP National Organizer Position.

The former Member of Parliament for the Dormaa West Constituency, Ali Maiga Halidu, has officially declared his intention to contest for the National Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the party’s internal elections.

According to him, the party needs an energetic and grassroots-oriented leader who possesses the required qualities to strengthen the party’s base and mobilize supporters toward victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking at a press conference, Ali Maiga Halidu indicated that he has the experience and competence needed to effectively organize and energize the grassroots of the party across the country.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for the Atiwaa East Constituency, Abena Osei Asare, has urged delegates of the party to vote for Ali Maiga Halidu to become the next National Organizer.

According to her, Ali Maiga Halidu possesses the leadership qualities and experience needed to help the party leadership, including former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, and other executives to work together to recapture power in the 2028 elections.

Some executives and supporters of the NPP have also thrown their support behind Ali Maiga Halidu’s bid, urging delegates to vote massively for him during the party’s internal elections.
