Tema Wreckage Of Crashed Microlight Aircraft Cleared As Probe Begins.

A joint team comprising officials from the Aviation Authority, the Ghana National Fire Service, the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Armed Forces, and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has retrieved wreckage from the microlight aircraft that crashed on Monday at Tema Community 1, Site 18.

The operation saw personnel working together to secure and transport debris from the crash site, with support from a Ghana Armed Forces truck used to convey the aircraft’s engine and other remains.

Acting Commissioner of the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau, Mr. John Womboti, confirmed that preliminary witness interviews have been conducted. He added that a full-scale investigation will commence to determine the cause of the crash.
