Pregnant Women On Her Way To Deliver Was Nearly Killed In The Midnight On Their Way To The Hospital.

A woman called Safia and her mother, Abugiri Hawa from Adiemra zezera to Yawusukrom including the pragia or okada rider known by the name Lamborn Amos, popularly known as Atom were attacked by some unknown people on their way to the hospital when Safia, the pregnant woman was about to deliver.

Lamborn Amos, popularly known as Atom explained to elder Sansah, Nsoromma FM on how they were almost killed by some attackers around 3:00 am that was 13th March, 2026.

From the community called Adiemra Zezera to hospital, Nkrankwanta the district capital is for about 30 minutes.

According to Lamborm Amos, he thought it was almost a day time when he was asked to pick the pregnant woman from Adiemra Zezera to Nkrankwanta, which is in between Adiemra Zezera and Yawusukrom in the Dormaa west District.

They were two, one was holding Cutlass (blantan) with the other one holding a wood . I aggressively decided to hit the one with Cutlass.

He cut the glass area which is in front of the pragia with the intention to kill me, the pragia rider first.

We were able to escape safely with no injuries. According to him, in front of the pragia had destroyed

A six(6) to seven (7) months pregnant woman was killed some few months ago which is last year 2025 .

This attack on pregnant women at the same road has caused all pregnant women in that area fear and panic.

The pregnant woman and her mother were crying and shouting because of how the guys were aggressively standing there with their tools.

I don’t know where I instantly got the boast and energy from to face them.

I targeted the one holding the Cutlass to hit him with the pragia and it was a point of do or die affair said Lamborn Amos or Atom.

I reported the case to the police personnel at Adiemra but I was asked to report to the police station at the Dormaa West district capital called Nkrankwanta.

He also pleaded with the police personnel to have a police barrier where they were attacked.

When speaking with the mother of the pregnant woman’s daughter, Abugiri Hawa she also narrated how the incident happened and how they escaped from that incident to the hospital.
