Stay Off My Land-Twifoman Paramount Chief Warns All Galamseyers.

Paramount Chief of Twifoman Traditional Area in the Central Region has warned galamsey operators to stay off his lands whether they hold concessions or not.
Speaking at the Traditional Council meeting, Otumfuo Amoah Sasraku IV reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to shielding his traditional area from environmental destruction.
Paramount Chief declaring zero tolerance for illegal miners, especially those polluting water bodies, whose activities are ravaging farms, contaminating rivers, and endangering food security in local communities, he vowed not to tolerate any operations threatening residents’ livelihoods and urged his sub-chiefs to vigilantly protect water bodies and farmlands.
Engr. Dr. Ebenezer Ankoma Gyamena, a senior lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, addressing the council, he urges traditional leaders to halt indiscriminate land sales that fuel galamsey.
