Nkaseim Chief Declares War On Illicit Drugs And Prostitution.

Nana Danso Agyei Ababio, Chief of Nkaseim in the Asutifi South District of the Ahafo Region, has expressed deep concern over the rising cases of illicit drug use and prostitution in the community.

Addressing stakeholders at his palace including security services, the Narcotics Control Commission, politicians, Nananom, spot operators, bar operators, as well as hotel and motel operators.

Nana Ababio issued a strong warning to individuals involved in such activities to desist immediately.

He emphasized that this serves as a final caution, stressing that in the coming days, anyone found engaging in these acts will face the full rigours of the law.

He further cautioned individuals who may attempt to plead on behalf of offenders to refrain from doing so, warning that the law will deal with them as well.

The Ahafo Regional Security Coordinator, Alhaji Osman Ahmed, also threw his full support behind the chief’s directive to clamp down on drug abuse and prostitution in Nkaseim.
