Water Shortage In Kpone -Katamanso District.

Residents of Sebrepor and parts of Ashaiman are grappling with severe water shortage, with taps running dry since the beginning of the year, raising serious concerns over sanitation, health, and livelihoods.
The ongoing situation has left households and businesses struggling to cope, as access to clean water remains a daily challenge.
Assemblyman for the area, Morris Kufoalor, has expressed deep frustration over the situation, noting that repeated efforts to reach the relevant institutions responsible for water supply have yielded no results.
He warns that the prolonged neglect is worsening sanitation conditions and could lead to serious health risks if urgent action is not taken.
He further cautioned that residents may be forced to take matters into their own hands if the situation persists.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Sebrepor Villa landlord Association and owner of Malbert inn Mama Mawutor says the crisis is taking a heavy toll on businesses As a hotel operator, she explains that the lack of water has made it difficult to serve clients and maintain basic operations, compelling her to drill a personal borehole to meet demand.
Residents in the community have also voiced their frustration, questioning the cause of the prolonged shortage and calling for immediate intervention
The people of Sebrepor are now appealing to government authorities, including the President, to urgently address the situation and restore water supply to the affected areas.
