Traditional Ruler Appeals For Training College In Gomoa West.  

The Odikro of Gomoa Tarkwa, Nana Opusu Atta Kwakwa Agyir V, has appealed to the Minister for Education to establish a teacher training college or technical institution in the Gomoa West area.

According to the traditional ruler, the establishment of such an institution will provide opportunities for students who complete second-cycle education but are unable to access tertiary or vocational training within the district.

Nana Opusu Atta Kwakwa Agyir V made the appeal during a community engagement attended by representatives from about 16 communities, aimed at promoting development in Gomoa.

Meanwhile, a lecturer at the African University College, Madam Monalisa, who facilitated the seminar, urged participants to take advantage of educational and skills development opportunities to improve their livelihoods.

She stressed the importance of continuous learning and active community participation in driving development.

Some chiefs and elders who participated in the community leadership seminar also expressed appreciation to Nana Opusu Atta Kwakwa Agyir V for the initiative and called for its continuation.
