ADA Youth Petition Mahama Over Poor Roads, Water Crisis And Under Development.

Youth groups within the Ada Traditional Area have petitioned President John Dramani Mahama to urgently intervene in what they describe as worsening developmental challenges affecting communities in the area.

At a demonstration organized to draw government attention to their concerns, the group called for immediate action to address deteriorating roads, poor healthcare delivery, inadequate street lighting, persistent water supply challenges, and coastal erosion affecting parts of the Greater Accra Region.

Speaking to the media, lead convenor Richmond Tetteh Puplampu Opesika said years of neglect and underdevelopment continue to threaten the lives and livelihoods of residents in the Ada enclave.

According to him, the situation has become unbearable, with many communities struggling to access basic social amenities and essential services.

Another member of the convening group, Africa Unite Soldier, also expressed frustration over what he described as the lack of development in the area.

He emphasized that the demonstration was not politically motivated but rather a collective call by concerned citizens for government intervention to improve living conditions in Ada.

He therefore appealed to authorities to listen to their concerns and take urgent steps to address the challenges confronting the people.
