Residents Of Nkrumah Nkwanta Decry Poor Network Coverage And Bad Road Conditions.

Residents of Nkrumah Nkwanta in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region are complaining bitterly over the lack of network connectivity in the town and the poor state of the road linking Nkrumah Nkwanta to Pakyi.

They said the absence of reliable telecom service is disrupting communication, business, and access to emergency contacts, while the deteriorated road makes travel and the movement of goods difficult and costly.

The situation worsens during the rainy season when the streets become nearly impassable, leaving residents stranded and vehicles unable to navigate the route safely.

Farmers and traders in particularly lose income because produce cannot reach markets on time, and students often miss school when the road becomes waterlogged and muddy.

Residents when speaking with Angel Tv News reporter, Bismark Mensah, appealed to the Assembly and relevant service providers to take immediate action to restore reliable network coverage and rehabilitate the road to improve livelihoods and restore confidence in local governance.

Meanwhile the Assemblyman for Nkrumah nkwanta electoral area Hon. Iddrisu Salifu confirmed the significant challenges residents are facing, noting that both the connectivity gap and the road condition have been raised repeatedly with authorities.

Hon Salifu revealed that, residents have to climb mountains before they can get network.

He added that despite assurances received from the District Assembly, little has changed on the ground and the community continues to bear the burden.

He also made a passionate appeal to government and the minister of communication Hon Sam George to assist the town to get network connectivity.
