Christians Against LGBTQ+ Commend Parliament, Urge President To Assent Bill.

The Founder and Leader of the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation, Dr. Kadmel Agbalanyo, has commended Parliament for what he described as its commitment to upholding the cultural, moral, and religious values of Ghanaians through the passage of the LGBTQI+ bill.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Agbalanyo praised Members of Parliament for supporting the legislation and called on the President to give his assent to the bill to enable it to become law.

According to him, the passage of the bill reflects the views of many faith-based organizations and citizens who believe Ghana’s cultural and family values should be protected.

He urged the President to act swiftly on the legislation, stressing that its implementation would help preserve the country’s moral principles and social norms.

Dr. Agbalanyo further appealed to religious leaders and civil society groups to continue engaging the public on issues relating to family values, morality, and national development.

Meanwhile, some members cladded in red and white attire jubilated for the passage of the bill and urged president Mahama ascent the bill to fulfill his campaign promise.
