Nyinahin Catholic SHS Teacher, Student Chash Court Grants Out Of Court Settlement.
Toase Magistrate Court has granted an out of Court settlement of the case brought before it involving a teacher of Catholic Senior High School and a female final year student.
The accused teacher who was seen in the viral video beating a female student of Nyinahin Catholic SHS was today, June 10, 2026 appeared before the Toase Magistrate Court in the Atwima Nwabiagya South of the Ashanti Region.
During the sitting, the prosecutor, ASP Frank Acheampong, pleaded with the court to grant the accused person an out of Court settlement since the school authority, GNAT regional leadership and the victim’s family have agreed on the out of Court settlement process.
The court, presided over by His Honour Robert Addo, upon hearing the plea of the prosecutor granted him his plea.
After the court procedure, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Prof. Elvis Binney thanked all the association members who trooped to the court to support the accused teacher and the National Leadership of the association for the unflinching support.
On his part, the Ashanti Regional Secretary for GNAT, Mr. D.K Atakora also had this to add up.
