Chief Applauds Okere District Assembly For Accounting To The People To Deepen The Trust In Governance.
The Gyaasehene of Minta krom, who doubles as Gyaasehene of Asumanyawa of Adukrom,*Nana Addo Kwapong*, has applauded the Okere District Assembly and the district Chief Executive of Okere, *Eric Williams Ayettey*, for accounting to the people of the district in his tenure in office.
Speaking to Angel News at the 2026 Stakeholders engagement on the performance of the 2025 composite annual action plan and budget* at Okere District Assembly (Adukrom) stated that accounting to people in governance and any other works helps boost trust and confidence among people to avoid doubts.
According to him, this stakeholder engagement has cleared all doubts among them, which he believes they will continue to work closely with the assembly to enhance developments in the Okere district.
Eric Williams Ayettey, DCE for Okere, in an interview, stated that the people of Okere should rally support for him and the president of Ghana to champion more development as seen in just a year in his tenure in office.
He therefore advised youths in the district to abstain from drug abuse, which will endanger their future.
