Wassa East: Okada Rider Killed In Fatal Crash On Akyempim–Atieku Road.

A commercial motorbike rider, popularly known as an Okada rider, has died following a fatal road traffic accident involving a Toyota Ranger pickup and a motorbike on the Akyempim–Atieku main road.
The accident occurred at about 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday and resulted in extensive damage to both vehicles.
According to information gathered from the scene, the Toyota Ranger pickup with registration number GN 2772-24 collided with the motorbike, throwing the rider underneath the vehicle and causing him severe injuries.
The rider, whose full identity is yet to be established, was reportedly trapped under the pickup after the collision.
He sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Eyewitnesses told Angel News that the victim, believed to be an Okada rider, lost control of his bodily functions as he battled for survival before eventually succumbing to his injuries.
The circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear, and investigations are expected to determine the exact cause of the accident.
The body of the deceased has since been conveyed for preservation and identification, while police continue their inquiries into the incident.
