Captain Smart Urges Gomoa West Mp To Resign Ahead Of Primaries.

A media personality and aspiring parliamentary candidate, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, has called on the Member of Parliament for Gomoa West Constituency, Richard Gyan-Mensah, to resign ahead of the upcoming parliamentary primaries to avoid what he described as an impending humiliation at the polls.

According to Captain Smart, the Gomoa West Constituency has experienced little development under the leadership of the current MP, making it difficult for delegates and constituents to renew confidence in him during the primaries.

He made the remarks during a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of ab old six-unit classroom block which has collapsed for many years and a modern health centre at Gomoa Mankessim in the Central Region.

Addressing residents and supporters at the event, Captain Smart stated that the constituency deserves practical and visible development instead of what he termed continuous political promises without action.

He stressed that the people of Gomoa West have waited for too long to witness meaningful improvement in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, access to potable water, and infrastructure development.

Captain Smart assured residents that he is committed to transforming the constituency through the execution of major developmental projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the people.

According to him, his vision for Gomoa West includes the construction of additional school buildings, health facilities, mechanized boreholes, and other social intervention projects across various communities within the constituency.

He maintained that leadership should be measured by tangible results and not mere campaign rhetoric, insisting that the constituency needs a new direction that prioritizes development and the welfare of residents.

The outspoken broadcaster further argued that Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah should step aside honorably before the parliamentary primaries rather than risk what he predicts will be a humiliating defeat.

Captain Smart emphasized that his decision to contest the parliamentary seat is motivated by his desire to bring real transformation to Gomoa West and not for political popularity.

He therefore appealed to delegates within the constituency to support his ambition in the upcoming parliamentary primaries, promising to usher Gomoa West into what he described as “a new era of development and accountability.”

The event attracted residents, opinion leaders, party supporters, and community members who gathered to witness the commencement of the projects.

Speaking with Angel TV reporter Mankradohemaa , Nana Akua Oduma Odoom, on behalf of Gomoa Mankessim traditional leaders expressed gratitude to Captain Smart for his commitment to build six unit classroom and health center for the community.

Some residents speaking with onua tv expressed gratitude to Captain Smart for coming into their aid in this critical moment.

End.
