Angry Youth, Residents, Nananom Protest Against Nkosour-hene, Petition Omanhene To Call Him To Order.

Angry Youth group, Residents and traditional authorities in Gomoa Gomoa Wassa in the central region has protested against a Destooled Nkosour-hene of the community Mr. Francis Tetteh Teye over what they described as total disrespect, and involving himself in numerous disputes and litigations that against the development of Gomoa Wassa.

According to the Angry Youth, Tetteh Teye is showing a sign of disrespect towards all the elders who gave him the position of Nkosour-hene due to the above reason he has been Destooled and now trying all he can to put injunction on the Annual Akwambo festival in Gomoa Wassa

Section of the youth and Nananom speaking on behalf of the community noted that, the community is far behind development due to the barbaric act of Francis Tetteh Teye hence the presentation of petition to the paramount chief of Gomoa Assin Traditional council Obrifo Ahunuako Ankobea II to take the necessary steps to stop Francis Tetteh Teye who is try all he can to put injunction on the Gomoa Wassa 2026 Akwambo festival.

We are here to officially submit our petition to Omanhene, the Regional minister and all the security agencies over the misconduct of the Destooled Nkosour-hene, they said.

The Youth and Nananom spoke with the media during a protest against Francis Tetteh Teye and submitting of petition to the Omanhene of Gomoa Assin traditional council today.

Meanwhile, Three Divisional chiefs under Gomoa Assin traditional council who received the petition On behalf of the Omanhene also spoke to Angel news
