BECE CRISIS: Gomoa Aberkum Students Consistently Record Poor Results — Chief.
A worsening BECE performance crisis has hit Gomoa Abrekum, with the Odikro, Nana Kweku Asona Otabil X, expressing concern over what he describes as consistently poor examination results among students in the community.
Nana Kweku Asona Otabil X attributes the situation to a shortage of teachers and inadequate teaching and learning materials, which he says continue to undermine the quality of education in the area.
He made the disclosure during the Yam Festival held at Gomoa Abrekum, where he appealed to the Member of Parliament Hon. Richard Gyan Mensah, the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders to urgently support education in Gomoa Abrekum and the wider Gomoa West area.
The Odikro also urged parents to treat their children’s education as a major priority and provide the needed support to help secure a better future for them.
