Ampabame No.1 Primary School Teacher Allegedly Commits Suicide; Community Thrown Into Shock.

The community of Ampabame No. 1 in Atwima kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region has been thrown into a state of shock and mourning after a teacher allegedly died by suicide in the early hours of today.
The deceased has been identified as Mr. Kwame Oduro, believed to be in his late 40s, a dedicated teacher at Ampabame No. 1 Primary School.
He was well known and respected in the community for his commitment to education and his peaceful character.
According to preliminary information gathered, the incident happened at dawn. An eyewitness account indicates that Mr. Oduro was at home with his wife when he stepped out.
After a while, when he had not returned, his wife went in search of him and found him in a tragic condition.
Mr. Oduro was survived by a wife and two children. His body has since been conveyed to the morgue for preservation and autopsy as investigations commence.
The incident has sparked fear and panic among residents, teachers and pupils, many of whom are finding it difficult to come to terms with the sad news.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service (GES) is yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, while the Police are expected to conduct thorough investigations to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death.
