Soldier Man Declares Intention To Contest Bono East NDC Chairmanship.

Alhaji Ali Abubakri, popularly known as Soldier Man, has officially declared his intention to contest the Bono East Regional Chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He says his decision to contest is driven by his desire to promote peace, unity and grassroots-focused leadership within the party.
Speaking during his declaration, Alhaji Ali Abubakri assured party members that the welfare of the grassroots would be a major priority of his administration if elected.
He said he would not be greedy with the resources and opportunities that come with the position, but would instead ensure that party members at the grassroots benefit from the party’s activities
According to him, the strength of the NDC lies in its grassroots, and therefore their concerns and welfare must remain at the centre of the party’s regional leadership.
Alhaji Ali Abubakri also pledged to work towards reclaiming the Techiman South Parliamentary seat for the NDC, while strengthening the party’s structures and unity across the Bono East Region.
A campaign team member, Abdul Basit, on his part disclosed that the Bono East Region is a strong hold of the NDC and wining 10 out of 11 seat in the Region is nothing new.
He further stated that winning 10 out of 11 seats without Techiman South, which is a traditional seat of the NDC is equivalent to failure.
End.
