Kokwaado Chief And Residents Appeal To President-Elect For Developmental Projects

The chiefs and people of the Kokwaado community, within the Komenda Traditional Area in the Komenda Edina Eguafo-Abrem Municipality, Central Region, have earnestly appealed to the president-elect for development.

Nana Kwansah III, Odikro of Kokwaado, speaking during the Grand Durbar Festival, expressed that the community lacks developmental projects and urged the government to repair the deteriorating township roads leading to the township

Nana Kwansah further pledged his commitment to uniting the people and commended the opinion leaders for their leadership role in promoting peace and cohesion during the 25-year absence of a chief following the passing of his predecessors.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Christopher Abakah, and Chairman of Kokwaado Indigenous, addressing the people, appeals to the Odikro to forgive his children for any misbehavior or inappropriate comments that occurred during the recently concluded general election.

“Several issues arose in our community during the election, and i stand here on behalf of the community to ask for forgiveness,” he appealed.
